The sultry singer has finally decided to open up about the predicament that earned her unparalleled humiliation!
Sometimes in November 2010, Avril Nyambura was cluttered with lesbianism allegations that gave many, irreversible shocks.
Damning photos popped showing Avril getting seriously cozy with another lady and this was the genesis of the ‘Hallo Baby’ hit maker being labeled a lesbian.
But during an Interview on ‘Zinga La Asubuhi’ with Bonny Msambi and Cynthia Anyango on Radio Taifa, the songstress blatantly denied she has a thing for fellow ladies.
Avril says the whole thing was a malicious scheme intended to dent her well manicured reputation and give some people mileage with their new business.
The soft spoken singer explained she was a victim of character assassination by a new studio that painted her in bad light in order to gain publicity.
“Me personally sijajihusisha na maneno kama hayo. So kuna watu walikua wanataka kuanzisha studio at some point and time na wakaona the easiest way ni wacha tujaribu kuchimbia huyu mwanadada ndo tuweze kunufaisha biashara yetu. And unfortunately me ndo nlikua the person nliend up kuwa hurt.” Explained Avril.
She further disclosed she learnt of the said studio’s ill intention after one of its members came forth and confessed to her.
One thing though, Avril didn’t address the issue of the authenticity of the photos that showed her in a compromising position with another lady.
Those pictured looked real and if they were photoshopped, then the person that created them must be having brains bigger than Albert Einstein’s.
